WARRANTY
• WARRANTY:
We guarantee the workmanship of the products
sold on this website for 1 year or 12,000
miles. The warranty period begins on the date
of purchase. One year/12,000 mile part replacement
warranty unless otherwise specified on your
receipt or by the manufacturer. If the receipt
states Limited Lifetime Warranty, we will
warrant the original part as long as you own
the vehicle on which the part was originally
installed. This does not include batteries,
electrical or emission parts.
• QUALIFICATION FOR ‘WORRY
FREE’ GUARANTEE: Part was purchased
from GearHeadPartsStore, original proof of
purchase, part failure occurred within the
12 month/12,000 mile period, if the manufacturer’s
warranty covers more than the standard 12
month/12,000 mile the it will override the
GearHeadPartsStore worry free guarantee.
• POLICY: GearHeadPartsStore
limited warranty is made to the original purchaser
only and is non-transferable. The original
sales invoice must be provided.
• LIMITED WARRANTY:
This limited warranty is limited to defects
in materials and workmanship of the products
as supplied by the manufacturer. The warranty
does not cover miscellaneous expenses for
removal, installation, service, towing or
down time, nor does it cover material, labor,
or additional parts required for replacement
or repair of damages caused by abuse (including
fire or wreckage), misuse, neglect, or failure
to follow operating or installation instructions.
• REFUNDS: GearHeadPartsStore
reserves the right to refund your money instead
of replacing or repairing a product. Warranties
are limited to the price paid for the product
LESS the shipping cost. All refunds are subject
to a 15% restocking fee.
• REPLACEMENT PARTS:
Parts provided as a warranty replacement carry
the remainder of the original warranty term
or 90 days whichever is longer. The customer
is responsible for any and all return shipping
costs.
• PARTS NOT COVERED:
The warranty does not cover parts that fail
as a result of improper installation, misuse,
abuse or the failure of another part. Parts
installed for use on off road vehicles, racing
or competition use, have no warranty. Parts
modified for use or installed for use other
than their original design and application
have no warranty. Any part that, in our opinion,
shows evidence of being used, modified or
installed contrary to manufacturers will not
be eligible for warranty or refund consideration.
Electrical and emission parts are non returnable
and are not covered under our warranty please
contact manufacturer.
• COMMERCIAL USE: The
warranty period for parts installed or for
use on commercial vehicles expires 90 days
from the date of original purchase, regardless
of what may be printed on the front of your
receipt.
• RETURN SHIPPING:
The customer is responsible for return shipping.
Our liability does not cover
lost or stolen packages mailed back by the
customer, containing the parts being claimed
under warranty. Because the customer is the
shipper, he is the only one who can file any
lost claim with the shipping company. Therefore,
the claim must be coordinated and processed
through the shipping company by the customer.
All returns are subject to a 15% restocking
fee.
