RETURN
RETURN POLICY
We are committed to providing the best customer
satisfaction possible and we stand behind the products
we sell here at Gear Head Parts Store. We will gladly
refund or replace any defective item(s). However
due to the additional support and warehouse handling
each return is charged a 15% restocking fee. Defective
or damaged uninstalled items must be returned pre-paid
within 30 days of receipt of your order.
RETURN SHIPPING – Is the
responsibility of the customer. Any packages returned
must include an authorized return form. If you need
assistance returning the item(s) please call our
customer service 1-888-532-5552.
RETURN REQUIREMENTS • Must
be in their original packaging – no exceptions
• Have original manufacturer information
• Damaged parts must not be used, installed,
or disassembled • No damage due to incorrect
installation • Do not having missing
parts, hardware or instructions
The following orders are NOT returnable:
•
Custom or special orders • Automotive
repair manuals • Electrical Parts and
Components (Such as: ECU's, Push Button Units, relays,
air mass meters, etc). Emission parts and components
(Such as Catalytic converters and exhaust sensors)
REFUNDS
Once we have received your return, conducted an
inspection of the return, and verified that your
return meets the above guidelines, a refund will
be issued. All applicable sales taxes will be refunded.
The cost of shipping will be credited only in those
instances that the return is a result of our error.
C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted. NOTE: the
inspection process may take 3-5 business days upon
receipt of the returned goods.
Refunds generally take 3-5 business days to post
to customers account from day of refund issue.
CORE RETURNS
Use the ‘RETURN FORM’ to process your
core return request, cores must be accompanied with
an authorized return form.
CORE RETURN REQUIREMENTS
• All fluids must be drained from the core
• The core must be securely wrapped in
plastic and sealed • Cores must be returned
in the packaging used in the shipment of the order
sent to you • Your core will be inspected
to determine if the core is rebuild-able
• Core return shipping charges are the responsibility
of the customer. These are non refundable.
Customer will be refunded the full amount for the
core return, a 15% restocking fee does not apply.
DAMAGED PRODUCTS
If your product has been damaged in shipment please
complete our return form within 24 hours of receipt
of your product. We will contact you via email with
further instructions on filing your claim.
LABOR
We will not refund any labor costs incurred by you
or the installer of the products purchased on this
website. No exceptions.
PRODUCT GUARANTEE
We guarantee the workmanship of the products sold
on this website. Guarantee begins on the date of
purchase. One year/12,000 mile part replacement
warranty unless otherwise specified on your receipt
or by the manufacturer. If the receipt states Limited
Lifetime Warranty, we will warrant the original
part as long as you own the vehicle on which the
part was originally installed. This does not include
batteries, electrical or emission parts.
ONCE ORDERS HAVE SHIPPED
Once the order has shipped it is considered a complete
and final sale. If you decide you want to cancel
your order after the item has shipped you will be
charged the shipping costs. After you refuse the
item(s) and we receive the product back after inspection
you will be credited minus the shipping cost &
15% restocking fee. All returned products will be
charged a 15% restocking fee- no exceptions.
